Why would your card not work?
As a proactive step for our members, we and many other card issuers take steps to keep you safe. One of those steps is to monitor your transactions. If anything seems suspicious we will "block" your card and notify you. This can come in handy if in fact your card was used fraudulently. However, this benefit can become a hassle if you used the card in a way that isn't normal for you, such as while vacationing or to make a large purchase. You can help minimize the likeliness of having your card blocked by letting us know ahead of time that you will be traveling or making a large purchase.
*Open a Rewards Card with us between June 1, 2013 and July 31, 2013 and receive 5000 bonus points when your first purchase is made within 45 days of your account open date. Apr = annual percentage rate. Open a Premier or Rewards card with us June 1, 2013 through July 31, 2013 and enjoy an Introductory APR of 1.99% on purchases for 6 months from account open date. After the first six months, the rate on any remaining balance will return to the APR as disclosed at account opening (currently 9.90%-18.90%) based upon your creditworthiness.
